AI (BYO-AI)

On Growing and Enterprise Plan you can hook up briefin with different AI LLM's to enhance briefs before they get submitted. 

The AI processes a combined dataset that includes all text fields from the brief, along with the template, collection, and brief names and descriptions. This holistic dataset enables the AI to analyze the brief comprehensively. You can also enter questions directly into the text fields for the AI to consider in its analysis, provided the model has internet access for external research.

To setup the AI integration you will need an active subscription to a 'PRO' plan (a personal subscription is not sufficient). Luckily it is pretty straightforward to get this running. 

Example configuration for OpenAI (ChatGTP)

Create an account on:  

https://platform.openai.com/

Locate the API Keys and click Create new secret key.

You must assign a monthly budget (and credit card billing details).  

Usually an AI enhanced response from briefin consumes $0.01-0.03 

After this you can choose the AI Model (currently GTP-5 Mini is the default) and paste in your API Key. 

Completing the above steps will allow briefs to be AI enhanced before getting submitted.

Before submitting a brief, click on the Analyze with AI button in the bottom of the brief page.

The AI will now analyse the text based field types for the users' input and provide suggestions to improve the input. 

In the top you will see a summary.

And on each text based input field, you can click the pulsing blue ribbon to see the suggested improved input. Click Accept to inject the suggested text into the field.
